Avon Clubs XC Mob Match

The second Avon AA Clubs Mob Match 5K will be run at the Mike Sully Cross-Country Classic on the Bristol Downs on Sunday 21st November. All Avon clubs are being invited to take part in this special occasion. The event is 5K (5x1km laps) and will conclude the race programme, following a similar format to the annual Towpath race organised by GWR in the summer. The match will be between teams of up to 20 runners (men or women), with the best 10 to count. The race will be run like the Gwent League with no numbers but finishing tickets issued. There are individual prizes for the winning team, plus a perpetual shield for the winning club.
The race is being held at Clifton Downs in the area bordered by Clifton Down Road, Upper Belgrave Road, Stoke Road and Ladies Mile. Parking recommended in Ladies Mile (BS9).
Don’t forget to wear club vests.
